This was a photo taken by me on my "Haunted Bachelorette". It freaked the schiesse out of me, until I realized it was actually my hand adjusting the flash. Needless to say, I love anything unexplainable and paranormal -- thus, the haunted bachelorette. Tonight I was watching the TV show Ghost Hunters, and they were doing an investigation in an old jail built in 1833 in Cornwall Ontario. Then I realized "OMG, we pass Cornwall on the 401 heading east!!". An idea was born...
Some may simply poo-poo the idea of ghosts, shrug them off as paranoid delusions, while others such as myself, get all wrapped up in the stories and goosebumps! I haven't seen a ghost per se, I have seen strange and unexplainable things though (ask my Aunt Linda, she may tell you I've seen ghosts, the jury's still out). But the fact still remains that I'm intrigued by the whole notion, so I sent a text to the Jess Factor tonight and asked if we could stop for lunch in Cornwall, and take a tour of this haunted jail, perhaps filming me getting all freaked out at the same time. MWA HA HA HA.
So kids... 23 sleeps and counting til our adventure, and we already have our first pit stop planned for Cornwall Ontario.
For any Newfoundlanders following this, Cornwall is pretty much the last town in Ontario before you hit Quebec, and really good poutine.
Should be interesting....
:) Migrant Mainlander xo
I should invite you to come have dinner with our ghost..Sometimes she is friendly sometimes she is not...
ReplyDeleteThere are times when she takes on the form of a little girl asking for help and sometimes she is in the form of a man with a long coat..Only once did she take on the form of a cat..
She has been with us since 1990...She has followed us to 3 homes now..
I'm living at my mom's place right now, and they have a cat ghost. Both Scott and I have seen her. Ok, so I guess it's confirmed that I've seen a ghost. HAHA! Yes, I'd LOVE to meet her!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe have been to Cornwall twice and found it to be a rather dark place that had noting to do with the weather or the time of day.
ReplyDeletethen you would love talking to my cousins because they've seen tons of ghosts in their hous here (scarborough) and in their house in jamaica. i swear, there scarb house is haunted and i refuse to step foot in that house. they invited me to visit them in jamaica but i was like: HELL NO; i don't want any ghosts around me!
