So we made it safely through the first leg of our journey to Edmunston NB. this morning was particularly hard as I had to say goodbye to Scott after only seeing him for 2 days. :( tears were shed all the way down to Scarborough to pick up The Jess Factor.
Amazingly she lives (with her grandma) right near where my Great Aunt Beat used to live, off Brimley Rd. Oddly I recognized it by the huge cemetery across the road.
Meanwhile, Scott and I had arranged the SUV to be in the lap of luxury for our two cats Hickory and Doc (no we didn't name them, no there is no Dickory). Hickory absolutely HATES being in the car, and cries like a human child, which in turn makes his mommy cry, so not only was I upset about leaving Scott for the next 6 weeks, I had a crying kitty in the cat with me. However, once we got to Jess Factors he calmed down and was pretty quiet the rest of the trip. And we have two kitty beds, and a bunch of fleecy blankets and what do they sleep on? The cooler. Hard plastic. Sheesh.
So I've included a pic of these awesome chopsticks (if you can call them that) Jess brought. We had Chinese ordered as soon as we got to our hotel room, and used our kick butt chopsticks!
I think that's it for now. Wanted to blog more, but I drove all day and that's just not safe!
Talk to you tomorrow!!
