So here is the mascot of the trip. He doesn't have a name yet, I always just call him "that ugly lobster". He was a gift from me to Scott this Christmas, yes, he is an ornament. He's made of glass and very delicate, so I didn't want to pack him in a box.
I'm going to hang him on the rearview mirror, a sacred and cherished symbol of the east coast in all his shellfish glory.
The next point of business is what chariot I'm taking. Recently I was upgraded to take our SUV! which is good because I have a very small (cute-as-a-button) hatchback, which had to fit me, the Jess Factor, two cats and our luggage. The SUV will dothe trick, and were towing a small 5' utility trailer, so we'll have room to spare!!
Before all of this gets under way, I have to take a trip to the Dominican to shoot a wedding. Poor me. Our good friend Nicole us tying the knot, and I'm so BLESSED to be asked to capture it. So TTFN, and I'll keep you posted on updates when I'm back on the 13th.

Wasn't that the tacky lobster you bought at Pier 1 at Christmas? Call him Thermadore! Or Louie...
ReplyDeleteLovely mascot. I've seen worse! I understand that Ken is in the UK. Just a visit or more permanent?
